Well fall is here, days are getting shorter, and we will be putting our cars away for the winter before you know it.
Sadly, we didn't get a chance to do very much this year with our cars or club members. I'm waiting for that day so we can enjoy our hobby once again. The year 2020 will be remembered for the rest of our lives.
Al Bernotas has informed me that the Bordentown Community Center will be closed through December. Al has suggested the Veterans Park in Lawrence Township. He says it has a pavilion and a rest room. So I think we will try this out for our next meeting on October 11th. Again we will shoot for 3:00 pm to avoid driving home in the dark. More information on page 2 of this Newsletter.
Our October meeting is the first round of board nominations for 2021. I have made a suggestion at the September meeting to hold this board for 2021. Everyone agreed to this suggestion. We will follow our bylaws accordingly but with this pandemic, we may have to bend the rules.
John and Dawn have offered to open there home for our November meeting. This will be a covered dish event. Please call Dawn if you plan to attend. More information in this Newsletter.
Frank Visco has made the suggestion of a virtual meeting using zoom. I will look into this and see if we can get everyone on board.
