I am without words about what we are going through in the world today. I'm not liking the new normal and hoping for the best! If you find yourself getting a little depressed, call a friend or stay busy to pass the time. Stay safe so we all can be together soon.
Maureen and I, like most of you are staying home, working around the house and only going out as needed. Maureen has been busy making cloth masks, doing her part in helping family and friends from this pandemic. I'm keeping busy building a She Shed for Maureen, (a 30 some year promise, someday, ha-ha!) rebuilding a bathroom for my brother-in -law and taking the classic cars out now and then.
On May 23rd, we are scheduled to hold our annual picnic at Washington Lake Park. I'm holding off at this time from cancelling, we will inform you as we get closer to this date. As I write this message the park is closed. Look for more information in this newsletter.
June 13th is the All GM Auto Show in Smithville Village in Smithville, N.J. from 10am to 3pm. Last year we received "Best Club Participation" so please let's do that again this year. Clean and Shine your car and join in on the fun! Smithville is a great place to spend the day with the whole family. We will hold a brief meeting under that tree again, have lunch together and enjoy the rest of day. Who knows who will bring the next trophy home! The rain date is June 14th.
