The state of New Jersey WAS going to open, BUT our governor put the brakes on. Last month I wrote how we were slowly starting to get out and around again, and a month later we are on hold until our governor thinks it's OK for us to get out. What more can I say!
On July 18th, the Dennery's invited our club to their home for a barbeque picnic. It was great to get out with friends and kick tires. Dawn did everything we are told to do when it comes to safety. She set up a sanitizing station along with masks. The food was delicious. John and Dawn's son Jason cooked up the burgers and dogs to perfection. Along with all the sides, everything was absolutely delicious.
A total of thirty members and guest were present along with twelve classic cars. Music was played throughout the day by Steve Calandra. A quick meeting was held to bring everyone up to date.
The Bordentown Community Center is still NOT allowing anyone to meet at the center through August.
Joe DiNoia has offered to open his shop for our August 8th meeting. Do to feedback I have received. We will NOT be holding a meeting in August.
