Simply over the top! The Dennery’s hosted a wonderful backyard picnic for the Jersey Late Great Club. We can’t thank them enough for their warm hospitality, generosity and club support. Special thanks to Steve Calandra for providing great tunes throughout the event. It was a very special club gathering as we celebrated Al Bernotas’ 80th Birthday - our long-time dedicated club Sergeant-at-Arms. What a great gathering of friends and old cars, and best of all, the pool was open! The Club also awarded a testimonial plaque to Al Bernotas for his many years of support to the club in the capacity of Sergeant-at-Arms. I believe he has done this for 15 years, thanks Big Al!
I hope you all are out and about cruising in your old Chevys. Commencing July 23, the National Impala Convention will be held in Gettysburg, Pa. Some of our club members will be in attendance and it's not too late for you to join in. Please refer to the flyer later in the newsletter. It promises to be a funfilled event that you won’t want to miss.
Our next meeting will be in September. Mike Berry is running a Shore Cruise for us. It will either be on September 10th or 17th; we are waiting for the date to be finalized. There will be no club meeting in August.
