During the years from 1958 through 1972, Chevrolet made all kinds of cars and all kinds of people bought them, for all kinds of reasons. But if you own a Late Great Chevy today, you are a member of a very unique group, and you own a piece of automotive history that represents an era none of us will ever see again.
As Members of the Jersey Late Greats, we all try to relive a little of that wonderful era gone by. Whatever model Late Great you own, you'll find one of the best ways to enjoy it and keep it in good shape is with the fellowship and help we share with people that have the same common interest in these cars as you have.
Whether your car is finished or not, we'd like to have you and your family join the Jersey Late Greats and help us turn back the calendar over 40 years! The following are some of the things you can expect from our club:
The Jersey Late Greats seek activities which can be enjoyed by the entire family whenever possible. We sponsor and attend combination car show/flea markets, county fairs and other show and race events. We also have our own picnics, road rally, cruises and our annual Awards banquet. During the Winter months, we try to schedule interesting tours and other indoor events, such as workshops, movie nights etc. In the past we have participated in some of the larger 4th of July and Memorial Day parades, and frequently asked to provide our cars for other displays and community events. In 1984 and again in 2005 our chapter hosted the Ecklers International Convention in Mt Laurel and Princeton N.J. The association Director called it "the best organized convention the association could ask for. In 2012 we hosted the 32nd Annual National Impala Association Interational Convention in Mt Laurel.
National club membership to Ecklers is $39.95/yr. includes a full color monthly magazine, a large selection of discount new and reproduction parts, and regional and yearly International Conventions.
