September 2012
President’s Message
Welcome Autumn! The Fall season will soon be upon us, all that
color and comfortably cool weather cruising … I can hardly wait! Break out the
Flannel shirts and the warm comforters and jump into your Chevy for a brisk
and picturesque country cruise. Don’t forget the warm apple cider while you’re
at it.
I hope that you all took full advantage of the Dennery Cook-Out. I heard it
was quite an exciting and enjoyable experience. I spoke with some members who
attended, and they just didn’t have enough fun stories and kind words to share
about this great event. We will provide picture coverage of this in next month’s
Newsletter edition.
We have an excellent trip planned to the Hershey AACA Museum.
This will be a delightful weekend trip commencing on Saturday, September 22nd
and touring the Museum on Sunday the 23rd. The following weekend will be the
nostalgic Lincoln Highway Cruise, held on September 29th.
This trip is a ride down Memory Lane to a simpler time driving on old Route
30.
Our next meeting will be at the Bordentown Center, where we will
discuss in details our scheduled trips and activities. We will also select a
Nominations Clerk for December’s Board Member election. Now is the time to consider
who you would like to see run for an Officer’s position in our Club, please
give this careful consideration and bring your nominations to the October meeting.
There is some excellent photo coverage of the 012 NIA Convention
in this month’s edition, provided courtesy of our esteemed VP-Mike Berry. Please
take some time and enjoy these memories of an outstanding club endeavor.
Hope to see you all at September’s Meeting, and please show your
colors and bring your Chevy!
Keep ‘em Rollin”
Tom
