March 2017

President’s Message

Here we are in March and we are all getting our cars ready for the cruising season.

Dawn Dennery has prepared an article that appears in this newsletter on our annual club banquet that was on Saturday, February 18th. Prior to the banquet, we had a short club meeting and Dawn took the minutes. Going forward, the minutes will appear in the newsletter. We want you to know exactly what is going on at the monthly meetings and make you aware of up-coming events.

On March 12th we will have our next club meeting. To enhance the meeting, Joe DiNoia and others will be presenting a tech session on “Brake Maintenance”. This is the first of the tech sessions we will be presenting to help you maintain you cars.

In April (date will be determined soon) we will be visiting Eastwood’s location in Pottstown, PA for a couple of tech sessions on different aspects of repairing and making your car have that special look. You will have an opportunity to visit their retail store.

On May 6th we will have our annual picnic. It is back in New Jersey at Mercer Park where we had the picnic for many years. Plan on attending, as we always have a great time with great food prepared by our own resident chef, “Big Al”.

The Dennery’s will host a picnic on July 22nd at 12:00 noon. More details to follow. All of our meetings, tech sessions, picnics, and other events are open to all members and their family. We encourage you to bring friends that are interested in joining our club. They don’t have to own a Chevy, they just have to have a love of the full size Chevy. Our membership drive continues for 2017.

I look forward to seeing you at one of our next meetings or events. It is your club, so come and support it and enjoy being with your fellow Chevy enthusiasts.

Get ready for the upcoming cruising season in your Chevy.
Frank
